Yes, it’s official – We will soon be able to offer the same capabilities in Altaro Hyper-V Backup to VMware users as well. That means you’ll be able to:
- Manage VM backups across all your Hyper-V and/or VMware hosts from a single interface
- Utilize the same backup/restore features, speed and flexibility our Hyper-V users are raving about on your VMware environment
- Choose a VMware backup solution that is full-featured, affordably priced and offers outstanding support as part of the package.
You will also be able to use the Free Edition (free for 2VMs per host, forever) on your VMware environment.

What is the anticipated date for General Release?
